The Nook - Deluxe Superking

Positive: Stayed here a few times now and as per usual spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Negative: Having to leave

Positive: Close to town and parking. Comfy bed. Negative: Signage for finding the place was lacking. It doesn’t show the right place on the GPS. A street number would help, or clearer directions. A little table in the room would be useful.

Recent stay Positive: Light airy room. Clean. Negative: NO CURTAINS OVER THE BLINDS LETTING LIGHT IN THE WHOLE NIGHT! RIDICULOUS. ALSO NOISY PEOPLE UPSTAIRS!

Positive: Large clean room, nice and bright, clean communal kitchen, good communication via email re: entry code, quiet, A well stocked SPAR grocery store up the hill and just around the corner (8 min walk). Negative: We walked the coastal path to St Ives - then picked up our luggage. Didn't realize that it wasn't right in heart of St Ives but in Ayr, St Ives. We had to carry our luggage up several steep hills as we didn't realize the topography relative to The Nook location. However, when we departed, we took a taxi to the train station which was only the eqivalent to Cdn$8.00.

Lovely place to stay in st Ives . Positive: We stayed in room no 1 . Lovely size room ,very clean and bright . Didn’t use the kitchen but everything you needed was in there. I did use the iron and great that the room had a hairdryer as we had a bit of a wet weekend during our stay . Negative: It’s not a complaint just bear in mind as this is a communal establishment ,but we did have a family above us with some lively children . I don’t know if they were dancing or jumping around but the noise went on quite late and started early in the morning .
