The Nook - Deluxe Family Room

Good and reasonably priced base for st ives. Positive: All very clean and modern. Our room was a good size , comfortable bed and good shower. Good to have parking. It’s up a hill from the centre, about a 15 minute walk from Porthmeor beach. A good base and a lot cheaper than many places in St Ives Negative: There is a communal fridge, some of our food disappeared, they need a labelling system.

Positive: Have only just returned home from our stay and are looking to book already for next year! Negative: Lack of organisation in kitchen in regards to fridge and cabinets. Maybe have a shelving area with a cube for each room so easier to store food.

Teleurstellend verblijf Positive: Schone kamers en comfortabele bedden Negative: We sliepen 2 nachten in the Nook. Beide nachten veel overlast gehad van feestende ondergasten. Na telefonische melding geen verbetering en kregen we de tweede nacht het advies zelf de politie te bellen. Er is geen staf op de locatie dus geen persoonlijk contact en sta je alleen bij klachten. De partij die het beheert hebben onze klacht doorgezet naar de eigenaren, maar hebben daar nooit op gereageerd. Wie voor rust komt absoluut geen aanrader.

Lovely hotel near the beach Positive: The accommodation was located near the city centre, within a walking distance from a beautiful beach. The room was clean and comfortable. A selection of tea and coffee was provided and it is also worth mentioning that the shower gel had a beautiful scent :) There was also a little garden behind the house where the guests could relax and a little kitchen with a fridge shared by the guests. The surroundings were quiet and it was possible to either take a walk around the city or follow one of the lovely routes around the coast. Negative: Since the Nook is fully automatised accommodation, there sometimes may be issue with communication in case of a problem. The system worked really efficiently but in the case of a sudden need (slightly earlier check-in, luggage storage), it was a little difficult to get an assistance.

Clean and pleasant base to enjoy a quaint Cornish resort. Positive: Spacious room, super-king-size bed, nice bath-room, convenient key-less entry. Negative: Good solid kitchen dining-table but with a slightly rough surface, not great for wiping clean.
